Steam trap works on the mechanism of valves that are opened, closed and adjusted on an automated mechanism. Steam trap is a tool used to release condensate and non condensable gases consuming very less live steam. Usually the steam trap opens when low pressure air has to be released and it gets closed when only steam exists. In order to improve the heating capacity and to maintain the heat in the plant, many industrial units make use of steam trap. These offer longer service period, as these are specially designed in anti-torque assembly, which also prevents it against any kind of damage at the time of installation and replacement of the view glass. In addition, this glass is also provided with in-built deflectors to offer better visibility of the flow. These modules are best suited for high temperature and pressure application in compliance with the GMP.
