Y Strainer

Y Strainer as the name suggest is a Y shaped filter with wire net as a medium to act as a filter. Small to heavy industrial units use this kind of Y strainers in the process line to filter solid particles that are bigger than the size of the wire net and are trying to surpass in the process line. Such kind of mechanism is essential in the working of any kind of pumps. Y strainers are economical and can help in removing large debris. They can be installed both in horizontal and vertical process lines. Y strainers are essentially used in pressurized process lines, gas or liquid, but can also be used in suction or vacuum conditions.
